Nous sommes \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019un contr\u00f4leur adjoint pour se joindre \u00e0 une \u00e9quipe dynamique. Ce poste, bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, implique des responsabilit\u00e9s concr\u00e8tes en comptabilit\u00e9 financi\u00e8re et en production de rapports de gestion pour l\u2019entit\u00e9 canadienne.<\/div>\n
La personne retenue participera aux op\u00e9rations financi\u00e8res, veillera au respect des normes comptables et des contr\u00f4les internes, et collaborera \u00e9troitement avec les \u00e9quipes des finances et des op\u00e9rations, tant locales qu\u2019internationales. Ce r\u00f4le contribue \u00e9galement \u00e0 l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des processus de reddition de comptes, au soutien des activit\u00e9s de cl\u00f4ture de p\u00e9riode et \u00e0 la fourniture d\u2019analyses appuyant la prise de d\u00e9cision et la croissance de l\u2019organisation.<\/div>\n
Responsabilit\u00e9s<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u2022 Superviser et encadrer une \u00e9quipe d\u2019analystes financiers, notamment dans les secteurs des comptes fournisseurs et des stocks
\u2022 Participer aux processus de cl\u00f4ture mensuelle et trimestrielle
\u2022 Collaborer avec les auditeurs externes pour r\u00e9pondre aux exigences de rapports trimestriels et annuels
\u2022 Examiner et communiquer les constats d\u2019audit li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019information financi\u00e8re et aux contr\u00f4les op\u00e9rationnels

Qualifications et exp\u00e9rience<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u2022 Baccalaur\u00e9at en comptabilit\u00e9; titre de CPA un atout
\u2022 5 \u00e0 7 ans ou plus d\u2019exp\u00e9rience progressive en comptabilit\u00e9, incluant une exp\u00e9rience en cabinet comptable
\u2022 Solide exp\u00e9rience des processus de cl\u00f4ture et de production de rapports financiers, incluant la gestion du grand livre

We are seeking an Assistant Controller to join a dynamic team. This role is based in Montr\u00e9al and involves hands-on responsibility for financial accounting and management reporting within the Canadian entity.<\/div>\n
The successful candidate will support financial operations, ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls, and collaborate closely with both local and global finance and operations teams. This position also plays an important role in improving reporting processes, supporting period-end close activities, and contributing insights that support business decisions and continued growth.<\/div>\n
Responsibilities<\/strong><\/div>\n

  • Oversee and guide a team of financial analysts, particularly in accounts payable and inventory areas <\/li>\n
  • Assist with month-end and quarter-end closing activities <\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with external auditors to support quarterly and annual reporting requirements <\/li>\n
  • Review and communicate audit findings related to financial reporting and operational controls <\/li>\n
  • Develop, document, and maintain accounting policies and procedures <\/li>\n
  • Utilize financial systems to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency <\/li>\n
  • Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, systems, and controls <\/li>\n
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial reporting standards <\/li>\n
  • Partner with operations and supply chain teams to support accurate costing and inventory valuation <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/div>\n
      \n
    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting; CPA designation preferred <\/li>\n
    • 5\u20137+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting exposure <\/li>\n
    • Strong experience in financial close and reporting, including general ledger responsibilities <\/li>\n
    • Industry experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or maintenance environments is an asset <\/li>\n
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel <\/li>\n
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities <\/li>\n
    • Experience with ERP systems (preferred but not required) <\/li>\n
    • Ability to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail <\/li>\n
    • Proven ability to work accurately and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment <\/li>\n
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills <\/li>\n
