We are seeking a Commercial Buyer for our metal processing client's Terrace location! This person will drive revenue growth and profitability goals through business development, procurement and sales results, accomplished by maintaining service levels with current accounts whilst prospecting for new accounts.<\/div>\n

Schedule:<\/strong> Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm. Either onsite or at client visits.<\/div>\n <\/div>\n
Compensatio<\/strong>n:<\/strong><\/div>\n\n- $75,000 to $85,000 base salary<\/li>\n
- Monthly, uncapped profit-sharing payout<\/li>\n

What You\u2019ll Do<\/strong>:<\/strong><\/div>\n\n- Proactively identify and pursue new business prospects for company.<\/li>\n
- Follow-up on sales referrals received from all sources.<\/li>\n
- Maintain diligent reporting as required in software.<\/li>\n
- Ensure all pricing is correct and inputted in a timely manner into the ERP.<\/li>\n
- Provide a weekly summary of wins, losses, concerns and future plans.<\/li>\n
- Attend and present at meetings and industry networking events.<\/li>\n
- Support General Managers in the development, communication and implementation of the company\u2019s strategic business development.<\/li>\n
- Implement account management strategies for current and potential customers to ensure loyalty and sales growth.<\/li>\n
- Collaborate with Operations to ensure client service needs are communicated and service levels are consistent with the company\u2019s service standards.<\/li>\n
- Supports the strong customer service culture within the commercial procurement team to model and foster the company\u2019s customer service culture throughout the organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

What You Bring:<\/strong><\/div>\n\n- 5+ years of successful achievement in sales\/account management roles in the waste recycling industry or comparable service-oriented heavy industry, ideally in Alberta, British Columbia and\/or Pacific Northwest<\/li>\n
- Post secondary education in business, marketing, or sales, or equivalent experience<\/li>\n
- MS Office and some CRM exposure is an asset<\/li>\n
- Driven, hardworking team player<\/li>\n
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills<\/li>\n
- Ability to pass criminal background check and drug\/alcohol testing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
