Fuze HR is currently seeking a Bookkeeper \/ Accounting Support professional to join a rapidly growing and innovative organization, Horizon Legacy, based in North York.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
This is a temporary opportunity (initial 1-month assignment) with strong potential for extension, created to support a busy accounting team during a period of growth and increased workload. Horizon Legacy is known for its forward-thinking, project-driven work, and is looking for candidates with project accounting experience, especially using Sage Intacct.<\/div>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/div>\n
This role goes beyond traditional Accounts Payable and focuses on full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting support, including:<\/div>\n
\n- Processing Accounts Payable transactions<\/li>\n
- Performing credit card reconciliations (multiple company cards)<\/li>\n
- Managing and organizing receipts and financial documentation<\/li>\n
- Matching invoices and receipts to purchase orders<\/li>\n
- Following up with internal stakeholders to obtain approvals<\/li>\n
- Maintaining accurate and organized financial records<\/li>\n
- Posting transactions within the accounting system<\/li>\n
- Assisting with month-end and year-end close activities<\/li>\n
- Supporting the Controller and Senior Accounting team as needed<\/li>\n
- Ensuring compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
<\/div>\n
This role includes a strong coordination component, requiring proactive follow-up and attention to detail.<\/div>\n

Systems & Tools<\/div>\n
\n- Sage Intacct \u2013 project accounting experience highly preferred<\/li>\n
- Previous experience with project-based accounting is a strong advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Qualifications<\/div>\n
\n- Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting support roles<\/li>\n
- Strong background in Accounts Payable and reconciliations<\/li>\n
- Experience with project accounting, ideally in a construction or project-driven environment<\/li>\n
- Comfortable managing documentation and following up on approvals<\/li>\n
- High level of organization and attention to detail<\/li>\n
- Experience with Sage Intacct is preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
