We currently have a Purchasing and Supply Chain Coordinator<\/strong> job opportunity available with our client located in. Langley, B.C. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, and working
with a dynamic team in a manufacturing setting.
Responisbilites:<\/strong>
\u2022 Coordinating all inbound and outbound shipments.
\u2022 Completion of all BOL and Custom\u2019s invoices for outbound and incoming cross border
\u2022 shipments.
\u2022 Arranges and creates packing slips for customer orders from three (3) different warehouse
\u2022 locations.
\u2022 Arranges courier shipments for samples, tooling, etc in support of sales and operations
\u2022 staff.
\u2022 Organize and coordinate the daily shipping\/receiving plan.
\u2022 Manage shipping\/receiving staff.
\u2022 Manage warehouse space to ensure product flow and maximize utilization.
\u2022 Participate in weekly SOP meetings.
\u2022 Monitors shipping and receiving metrics.
\u2022 Handle vendor returns, aging inventory and cancelled orders.
\u2022 Perform internal inventory audits and cycle counting.
\u2022 Manage buy\/sell programs.
\u2022 Manage customer specific labelling programs.
\u2022 Provide administrative services by updating ERP with all pertinent information.
\u2022 Maintain carrier freight databases and rates
\u2022 Execute current contracts with carriers
\u2022 Investigate all variances on invoices relating to freight claims
\u2022 Analyze what we do within our entire supply chain and investigating opportunities to reduce
\u2022 costs and become more efficient
\u2022 Work with all departments to ensure we are transporting goods in and out of CKF Packright
\u2022 at a competitive rate
\u2022 Booking appointments, inbound and outbound and review delivery accuracies
\u2022 Works multiple priority activities concurrently that requires great coordination
\u2022 Develop supply chain procedures
Qualifications:<\/strong>
\u2022 Must possess a grade 12 completion certificate.
\u2022 A certificate or diploma with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing
\u2022 environment would be an asset.
\u2022 Demonstrated experience with MS Word and advanced experienced with Excel.
\u2022 Experience with an ERP system is preferred.
\u2022 Able to resolve problems.
\u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
\u2022 Must possess interpersonal, analytical, and planning skills.
\u2022 Ability to prioritize work, high attention to detail, effective follow-ups, problem solve, and
\u2022 take ownership of tasks
\u2022 Must have the leadership skills required to facilitate change that will improve the overall
\u2022 efficiency of Supply Chain Management at CKF Packright
\u2022 Must be willing to continue education by taking courses in Logistics, Supply
\u2022 Chain Management and\/or other related areas.
