We\u2019re seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced meat\/food manufacturing facility. This role is primarily floor-based (80% production floor \/ 20% reporting & admin) and ideal for a leader who thrives in operations, problem-solving, and team development.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

What You\u2019ll Do<\/div>\n
    \n
  • Directly manage 7\u20138 team leads \/ direct reports<\/li>\n
  • Lead daily shift handovers and production meetings<\/li>\n
  • Spend 80% of your time on the production floor, driving standards and performance<\/li>\n
  • Ensure production targets, KPIs, GMP, HACCP, and OHSA compliance are met<\/li>\n
  • Monitor and reduce downtime, troubleshoot equipment issues, and implement corrective actions<\/li>\n
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement (efficiency, waste reduction, workflow)<\/li>\n
  • Maintain and enforce production and food safety standards<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with QA, Maintenance, Sanitation, HR, and Logistics<\/li>\n
  • Complete end-of-shift production reports and performance summaries <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    What You Bring<\/div>\n
      \n
    • 5+ years\u2019 supervisory experience in food manufacturing (meat experience preferred)<\/li>\n
    • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, and OHSA<\/li>\n
    • Proven ability to resolve production and equipment issues in real time<\/li>\n
    • Comfortable leading discussions with general labourers and cross-functional teams<\/li>\n
    • Adaptable, dynamic leadership style in fast-paced environments<\/li>\n
    • ERP system experience and strong reporting skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
