Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations and company standards.<\/div>\n
The Project Manager works closely with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to manage project performance while maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.<\/div>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/div>\n
Project Planning & Execution<\/div>\n
\n- \n
Lead all phases of construction projects including planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
Coordinate with site superintendents to ensure smooth project delivery.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Financial Management<\/div>\n
\n- \n
Prepare and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial reporting.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
Track project costs and identify potential risks or variances.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
Review and approve subcontractor invoices and change orders.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Contract & Stakeholder Management<\/div>\n
\n- \n
Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and contract administration.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
Ensure project deliverables align with contractual obligations.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Risk & Compliance<\/div>\n
\n- \n
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
Monitor quality control and ensure construction meets design specifications.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Team Leadership<\/div>\n
\n- \n
Provide leadership and direction to project teams including project coordinators, engineers, and field staff.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
Facilitate regular project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Qualifications<\/div>\n
\n- \n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
5\u201310+ years of experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
Experience with large-scale projects such as commercial buildings, institutional developments, or infrastructure projects.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, and cost management.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Preferred Experience<\/div>\n
\n- \n
Experience working with a large general contractor.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
Knowledge of Canadian construction regulations and safety standards.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
Experience managing projects valued at $20M+.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
