Project Manager – Building Restoration, GTA<\/strong><\/div>\n

Position Overview<\/strong><\/div>\n
The Project Manager within the Building Restoration Consulting Team is responsible for overseeing all phases of a project from design to construction and delivery, under the support and guidance of a Project Principal. This role requires a proactive, client-focused mindset and a passion for delivering outstanding engineering services.<\/div>\n
General Responsibilities<\/strong><\/div>\n

  • Marketing: Strengthen the company\u2019s reputation through exceptional partner engagement. Represent the company professionally and build positive relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants.<\/li>\n
  • Knowledge Development: Continuously develop technical expertise and remain current with industry trends and best practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    <\/strong>Technical Responsibilities<\/strong><\/div>\n
      \n
    • Manage restoration projects from the initial design phase through to completion.<\/li>\n
    • Lead proposal development, including defining scope, estimating fees, scheduling, and planning resources.<\/li>\n
    • Conduct site investigations and evaluations.<\/li>\n
    • Prepare detailed technical reports with findings, project recommendations, and direction for the construction phase.<\/li>\n
    • Develop restoration designs, including scopes of work, specifications, and construction drawings.<\/li>\n
    • Chair client meetings and communicate updates, changes, and key project milestones to contractors and design professionals.<\/li>\n
    • Manage the tendering process and perform contract administration, including bid preparation, contractor selection, and review of invoices and change orders.<\/li>\n
    • Represent the company at industry events and networking functions.<\/li>\n
    • Stay up to date with industry standards, codes, and emerging best practices.<\/li>\n
    • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
