    What are the Responsibilities?<\/strong><\/div>\n
      \n
    • As the Service Manager, you\u2019ll spearhead the daily operations of the service department\u2014driving performance, elevating customer satisfaction, and developing a talented team of technicians and service staff.<\/li>\n
    • This is a career-defining leadership role where you\u2019ll influence everything from strategic planning to customer experience.<\/li>\n
    • Lead, mentor, and coach a high-performing service team<\/li>\n
    • Set clear expectations and maintain strong communication through daily huddles<\/li>\n
    • Address trends affecting morale, productivity, turnover, and staff satisfaction<\/li>\n
    • Oversee hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, performance management, and recognition<\/li>\n
    • Build a culture of passion for brands and elite customer service<\/li>\n
    • Maintain technician files for apprenticeships and payroll requirements<\/li>\n
    • Partner with leadership on annual business planning and budgeting<\/li>\n
    • Monitor financial performance with precision (productivity, efficiency, margins, expense control)<\/li>\n
    • Review budgets daily and analyze variances<\/li>\n
    • Identify trends and implement strategies to boost profitability<\/li>\n
    • Maintain 5S standards to ensure a safe, efficient workspace<\/li>\n
    • Manage warranty chargebacks to ensure full recovery and operational accuracy<\/li>\n
    • Stay current on market trends and industry technology<\/li>\n
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels<\/li>\n
    • Visit customers regularly to understand needs and strengthen loyalty<\/li>\n
    • Support tender bids and assist with vendor coordination when required<\/li>\n
    • Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain service customers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      What are the <\/strong>Requirements<\/strong>?<\/strong><\/div>\n

      • Required Qualifications<\/strong>\n
          \n
        • 8+ years as a Service Technician or similar role in trucking\/dealership environments<\/li>\n
        • 3+ years successfully leading and developing diverse teams<\/li>\n
        • Strong communication, analytical thinking, and operational decision-making skills<\/li>\n
        • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite<\/li>\n
        • Proven customer service excellence, commitment to providing exemplary service within a fast-paced, high-volume environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Bonus Points For:<\/strong>\n

          • Journeyperson Commercial Transport or Heavy-Duty Technician certification<\/li>\n
          • Experience in a unionized environment<\/li>\n
