This role is analytical and operational in nature, focusing on financial insights, operational efficiency, and business performance. It is not a transactional controller role, but a strategic finance leadership position with long-term succession potential.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The successful candidate will provide high-quality reporting and analysis, deliver actionable insights, and ensure operational and finance teams are informed for accurate decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across plants and fulfillment sites to drive cost optimization, profitability, and operational improvements.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Key Responsibilities<\/div>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Deliver actionable financial insights and analysis to influence business decisions, including business planning, forecasting, and value creation.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with operations teams to drive cost control, optimize processes, and improve operational efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly close processes.<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership and guidance to operational finance team members.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for finance processes and information flow.<\/li>\n<li>Present complex data clearly to support decision-making and performance improvement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Position Scope<\/div>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Oversight of Operations Finance in Canada with 1 direct report.<\/li>\n<li>Strong partnership with operations across plants and fulfillment sites.<\/li>\n<li>Heavy focus on operational analytics, cost control, and performance improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Long-term growth and succession potential (5\u20137 years).<\/li>\n<li>Drill into SAP-based operational data to identify profit improvement opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Support cost control initiatives including scrap, overtime, scheduling, and vendor\/customer accountability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Required Qualifications<\/div>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.<\/li>\n<li>10+ years of relevant experience, ideally in manufacturing\/operations finance.<\/li>\n<li>Strong SAP experience (purchasing screens, production\/sales orders, GL inquiry).<\/li>\n<li>Manufacturing background in standard costing, machine-hour costing, or fulfillment\/headcount-based costing.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP\/XLOOKUP, data analysis).<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interpret large datasets and translate them into business insights.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience driving change and influencing business partners.<\/li>\n<li>Clear and mature communication style; comfortable collaborating across functions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Preferred Skills<\/div>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Exposure to financial planning and reporting tools such as Hyperion (FCCS) and PCBS.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with capital approvals, project management, and ERP systems.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to provide actionable recommendations that improve operational performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Work Environment<\/div>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Primarily office\/manufacturing environment.<\/li>\n<li>Rotational travel to fulfillment sites (weekly rotation).<\/li>\n<li>Standard hours: 8:00\u20134:30;
