This role blends <strong>technical expertise, project leadership, and people management<\/strong>, offering the opportunity to shape strategy, optimize operations, and mentor a team of professionals. The successful candidate will drive innovation, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and align engineering initiatives with organizational goals.<\/div>\n<div><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><strong>1. Team Leadership<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Lead and inspire a team of 15 mechanical and electrical engineers, technicians, and maintenance professionals.<\/li>\n<li>Recruit, mentor, and develop talent, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture.<\/li>\n<li>Provide clear direction, delegate responsibilities effectively, and deliver constructive coaching and feedback.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>2. Operational Management<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Oversee mechanical and electrical systems and maintenance across the facility.<\/li>\n<li>Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and maximize equipment reliability.<\/li>\n<li>Uphold safety, efficiency, and compliance standards in all daily operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>3. Technical Expertise<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and industry best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Research and introduce emerging technologies to enhance department capabilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>4. Project Management<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Lead capital projects, including equipment upgrades and new installations.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals align with business priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Manage project budgets, risks, and timelines to deliver on schedule and within scope.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>5. Cost Optimization<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in engineering operations.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and optimize energy usage for improved efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to deliver value.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>6.
