Our client <\/strong>is seeking a Strategic Account Manager<\/strong> to champion key customer relationships, drive growth, and help shape the future of our sales strategy. In this role, you'll become a trusted advisor to clients, an internal collaborator, and a key contributor to our long-term success.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
What You\u2019ll Do<\/strong><\/div>\n
As our Strategic Account Manager, you\u2019ll take full ownership of a defined market area and play a critical role in:<\/div>\n
Customer Engagement & Relationship Building<\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
  • Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with customers, prospects, agents, and suppliers<\/li>\n
  • Act as the voice of the customer\u2014communicate key insights, opportunities, and challenges to internal stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    Sales Strategy & Market Development<\/strong><\/div>\n
      \n
    • Create and execute annual sales plans and forecasts that align with our client\u2019s broader marketing strategy<\/li>\n
    • Identify new product opportunities and support market mix improvements to drive profitability<\/li>\n
    • Prepare and negotiate pricing proposals tailored to customer profiles and current market conditions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      Account & Order Management<\/strong><\/div>\n
        \n
      • Facilitate smooth order processing and on-time delivery by coordinating with production, quality, scheduling, purchasing, and shipping teams<\/li>\n
      • Monitor inventory levels to prevent overproduction and minimize scrap<\/li>\n
      • Support the Inside Sales team to ensure exceptional service delivery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        Issue Resolution & Customer Support<\/strong><\/div>\n
          \n
        • Proactively manage and resolve commercial issues, including initial claims investigations<\/li>\n
        • Reconcile tolled orders and manage scrap credit approvals<\/li>\n
        • Ensure customer specifications and requirements are accurately communicated to internal teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            What You Bring<\/strong><\/div>\n
              \n
            • Bachelor\u2019s Degree (preferred) or equivalent related industry experience<\/li>\n
            • 2\u20134 years of experience in sales or account management within steel or paint industry is a strong asset<\/li>\n
            • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills<\/li>\n
            • Solid understanding of coil coating products and production capabilities (preferred)<\/li>\n
            • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills<\/li>\n
            • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and make strategic decisions<\/li>\n
            • A valid driver\u2019s license and clean driving record<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
              What to Expect<\/strong><\/div>\n
              Work Environment:<\/strong>
              Split between office, plant, and customer locations. Must be comfortable adhering to plant safety protocols and be available for travel as needed.<\/div>\n

              Hours:<\/strong>
              Standard office hours with flexibility for extended hours when required due to customer or business needs.<\/div>\n
