We are a well-established, mid-sized accounting firm providing a full range of taxation, assurance, and advisory services to a diverse client base. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our growing team. Position Overview<\/strong><\/div>\n
The Senior Tax Manager will lead complex tax engagements, review tax filings, advise clients on advanced tax planning opportunities, and supervise a team of professionals. In addition to technical oversight, this role involves significant leadership, client management, and business development responsibilities.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
  1. Manage and review personal and corporate tax compliance (T1, T2) and planning engagements.<\/li>\n
  2. Provide advanced tax advisory services, including corporate reorganizations, succession planning, and compliance with ASPE or IFRS.<\/li>\n
  3. Act as the primary contact for clients, building long-term relationships and delivering high-quality strategic advice.<\/li>\n
  4. Lead, mentor, and supervise junior and intermediate tax staff to develop their technical and professional skills.<\/li>\n
  5. Ensure compliance with Canadian tax legislation, and stay current on evolving regulations and best practices.<\/li>\n
  6. Collaborate with other managers and partners to improve internal processes and contribute to firm-wide initiatives.<\/li>\n
  7. Leverage professional judgment to manage complex client matters and provide innovative tax strategies.<\/li>\n
  8. Contribute to business development through networking, proposals, and identifying new service opportunities.<\/li>\n
  9. Participate in firm operations and strategy discussions, supporting technology adoption, recruitment, and service innovation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/div>\n
      \n
    1. CPA designation <\/li>\n
    2. 3 to 5 years of post-CPA experience in public accounting with a focus on taxation.<\/li>\n
    3. 1 to 3 years of management or supervisory experience.<\/li>\n
    4. Strong client-facing skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.<\/li>\n
    5. Experience reviewing personal and corporate tax returns (T1 and T2).<\/li>\n
    6. Working knowledge of ASPE regulations (or IFRS).<\/li>\n
    7. In-Depth Tax Program completed or in progress is preferred.<\/li>\n
    8. Proficiency with TaxPrep and CaseWare software.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      4. Contribute to firm governance, strategic initiatives, and long-term planning.<\/li>\n
      5. Show leadership in recruitment, training, and development of future firm talent.<\/li>\n
      6. Exhibit profitability, innovation, and consistent client satisfaction as markers of readiness for partnership.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
