About the Opportunity<\/strong><\/div>\n
A growing manufacturing facility in Etobicoke is looking to add a hands-on, motivated Production Lead to oversee daily operations across printing, laminating, and cutting. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced team leader who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments and is seeking long-term stability and career growth.<\/div>\n
The Production Lead will play a key role in ensuring on-time, high-quality output while mentoring staff, resolving operational challenges in real time, and driving efficiency across the floor.<\/div>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
  • \n
    Oversee Production Operations: Manage day-to-day activities in printing, laminating, and cutting to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n
    Lead & Mentor Team: Supervise and guide production staff, fostering collaboration and accountability.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n
    Ensure Quality & Efficiency: Monitor outcomes, maintain quality standards, and drive continuous improvement.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n
    Workflow & Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve bottlenecks or issues quickly to keep production on track.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n
    Schedule & Staffing Management: Work with the Director of Operations to plan production schedules, allocate resources, and manage overtime needs.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n
    Troubleshoot & Support: Provide real-time support during and outside of business hours as needed.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n
    Continuous Improvement: Analyze production outcomes, identify root causes of errors, and implement corrective measures.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    Qualifications Required:<\/strong><\/div>\n
      \n
    • \n
      3+ years in a production or manufacturing environment (print or custom manufacturing preferred)<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Zund and\/or cutting knowledge<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Proven leadership experience managing teams<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Ability to work full-time on-site with occasional after-hours support<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Excellent organizational and communication skills<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      Preferred:<\/div>\n
        \n
      • \n
        Experience in digital printing or sticker manufacturing<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
      • \n
        Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or other process improvement methods<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
      • \n
        Knowledge of production equipment troubleshooting<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
