MIG\/TIG WELDER FITTER-AFTERNOON SHIFT<\/div>\n

Apply now and join our state-of-the -art manufacturing environment. Specializing in metal components and subassemblies as a leading manufacturer. Within we have metal cutting, forming, machining, welding, assembly, and paint departments. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Location: Oakville, ON <\/div>\n
Shift: Afternoon, 2pm – 12am, Monday to Thursday<\/div>\n
Training will be on Day shift for first week 6am-2pm<\/strong><\/div>\n
Benefits: Pension, RRSP contributions, Medical\/ Dental and Vision<\/div>\n
Responsibilities<\/div>\n
\u2022 Read and interpret work orders and technical drawings.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Perform tacking, fitting and welding duties in accordance with work instructions and inspection sheets, and technical drawings.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Understand and comply with Company Health & Safety standards and programs<\/div>\n
\u2022 Able to do GMAW welding<\/strong><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Education & Qualifications<\/div>\n
\u2022 Welding Certificate or Diploma<\/div>\n
\u2022 Valid CWB welding ticket is an asset<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u2022 5+ years of welding\/fitting experience<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u2022 TIG welding experience as an asset<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u2022 Experience with forklift, jib\/overhead cranes is an asset<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u2022 Physically capable of performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the position including <\/div>\n
regular lifting and carrying of 5-23 kgs.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Ability to work safe and independently within a fast-paced environment.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Written and oral communication in English.<\/div>\n
