Through their tireless work, they prevent millions of pounds of edible food from going to waste, ensuring it ends up where it\u2019s needed most\u2014on plates, not in landfills.
We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join their Etobicoke-based team. If you're passionate about reducing food waste and making a difference in the community, this is your opportunity to be part of a high-impact team.
Key Responsibilities<\/strong>
\u2022 Manage and track inventory across dry, cooler, freezer, and non-food storage areas.
\u2022 Stage and rotate product daily to support efficient outbound deliveries.
\u2022 Support delivery staff with loading\/unloading trucks and preparing detailed Bills of Lading.
\u2022 Receive inbound goods, log them accurately, and assist with maintaining real-time inventory records.
\u2022 Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant warehouse environment.
\u2022 Ensure proper waste sorting and disposal of recycling, garbage, and organic materials.
\u2022 Perform safety checks on equipment and report hazards or issues immediately.
\u2022 Provide cross-departmental support when warehouse access or resources are needed.
\u2022 Set up and assist with volunteer-led food sorts and events.
\u2022 Perform other related duties to support smooth warehouse and fleet operations.
What We\u2019re Looking For<\/strong>
\u2022 Experience: 3+ year in a warehouse or logistics role. Prior experience with perishable goods is an asset.
\u2022 Certification: Valid forklift license and hands-on experience with warehouse equipment.
\u2022 Physical Readiness: Able to lift, push, and pull 50+ pounds and perform tasks requiring bending, standing, and reaching.
\u2022 Attention to Detail: Strong record-keeping, organizational, and time-management skills.
\u2022 Communication: Clear and professional communicator\u2014both verbal and written.
\u2022 Team Player: Willing to work collaboratively, jump in when needed, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
