About the Opportunity<\/strong>
A market-leading North American manufacturer is seeking a driven, results-focused Plant Manager to lead operations at one of its most advanced and high-output production sites. <\/div>\n
Our ideal candidate is someone who can lead transformation and foster accountability across a complex operation.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
  • Foster a strong culture of workplace safety by upholding and advancing corporate HSE standards<\/li>\n
  • Deliver effective, motivational leadership across plant operations, emphasizing collaboration and employee morale<\/li>\n
  • Identify, develop, and retain high-performing staff through targeted recruitment, training programs, and performance oversight<\/li>\n
  • Ensure operational excellence by meeting or exceeding benchmarks in efficiency, cost, quality, scheduling, and ongoing improvement<\/li>\n
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing practices and integrate globally recognized systems such as Six Sigma<\/li>\n
  • Track, report, and act on key performance indicators to maintain productivity and operational alignment<\/li>\n
  • Continuously assess and optimize organizational structure and staffing to match business demands and future growth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    <\/strong><\/div>\n
    Qualifications and Competencies<\/strong><\/div>\n
      \n
    • At least 5 years of leadership experience within a high volume manufacturing environment<\/li>\n
    • Proven success overseeing manufacturing operations, including quality, inventory, and process optimization initiatives<\/li>\n
    • Deep understanding of Lean principles and CI methodologies, with hands-on application in plant settings<\/li>\n
    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in engineering, Science, or Business; an MBA is considered an asset<\/li>\n
    • Strong analytical mindset with a track record of improving financial and operational performance<\/li>\n
    • High proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables) and familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems<\/li>\n
    • Approachable, team-oriented leader with excellent communication and organizational capabilities<\/li>\n
    • Ability to evaluate complex systems and introduce meaningful improvements without compromising day-to-day output<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
