What You\u2019ll Do:<\/strong><\/div>\n
As a Capital Planning Project Manager, you will play a key role in:<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Project Management: Lead and oversee building assessment projects, ensuring timely, accurate and budget-conscious deliverables.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Client Relations: Maintain and nurture strong relationships with clients, exceeding expectations at every opportunity.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Team Leadership: Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Technical Expertise: Conduct site reviews, analyse data and prepare detailed reports, including Depreciation Reports, Warranty Reviews and Building\/Property Condition Assessments.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Proposals & Planning: Develop project scopes, budgets and timelines, ensuring alignment with client goals and organisational standards.<\/div>\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00b7 Promote a positive, professional reputation for Sense Engineering.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Stay up-to-date with industry standards, building codes, market conditions and emerging technologies.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Conduct site visits, manage resources and prepare comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Lead the preparation of proposals, including developing project scopes and fees.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Monitor project budgets and timelines, keeping stakeholders informed of progress.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00b7 5+ years of experience in capital planning, preferably within the engineering or building assessment sector.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering (Civil, Materials, Mechanical), Building Science, Architectural Science or Applied Science; or Advanced Diploma in Architectural Technology or Civil Engineering Technology.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Valid driver\u2019s license and access to a vehicle.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Strong work ethic, leadership skills and a client-centric mindset.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Proficiency in building codes, standards and industry practices.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 A proactive approach to problem-solving and team mentorship.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.<\/div>\n
