With a focus on quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement, it plays a key role in supporting food production and consumer goods across the country.<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div><strong>What you\u2019ll get as a 1st Class Power Engineer:<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul class=\"list mt20\">\n<li>A strong compensation package including competitive wages, excellent benefits, high RRSP employer match, and an employee share purchase plan.<\/li>\n<li>3-on\/3-off or 4x10s (depending on plant cycle) offering regular long weekends and a healthy work-life balance.<\/li>\n<li>Supportive, fast-paced team environment with great leadership and opportunities for growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div><strong>What you\u2019ll do as a 1st Class Power Engineer:<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul class=\"list mt20\">\n<li>Operate and maintain 3 power boilers and 2 backpressure turbines to ensure continuous power generation<\/li>\n<li>Monitor processes, equipment, temperatures, pressures, and levels to ensure safe 24\/7 plant operation<\/li>\n<li>Respond to emergencies or abnormal conditions following established procedures<\/li>\n<li>Conduct basic troubleshooting, electromechanical maintenance, and operational support with other trades<\/li>\n<li>Perform routine tasks including sampling, testing, equipment preparation for maintenance, and housekeeping<\/li>\n<li>Occasionally assume duties of the Chief Power Engineer and support continuous improvement initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div><strong>What you\u2019ll bring as a 1st Class Power Engineer:<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul class=\"list mt20\">\n<li>Valid 1st Class Power Engineering Certificate (2nd Class considered if progressing toward 1st)<\/li>\n<li>Experience operating and maintaining systems in a 1st Class facility; strong steam, boiler, and turbine knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Strong mechanical aptitude; hands-on experience with DCS systems, generators, pumps, compressors, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent troubleshooting abilities and understanding of plant safety procedures (e.g., LOTO, Confined Space)<\/li>\n<li>Solid communication skills, team player, and leadership potential; WHMIS, TDG, OH&S knowledge preferred<\/li>\n<li>Food industry experience is an asset; must be safety-conscious with a strong work ethic and technical capability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div>Call me anytime at 778-879-5269 or send me an email at dwathen@fuzehr.com to get the conversation started about this great 1st Class Power Engineer opportunity. <\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div>Dominique Wathen, Director of Business Development<br \/>Fuze HR Solutions<\/div>\n<div>Fuze HR Solutions is committed to building a diverse, accessible, and equitable workforce.
