Our client, a major mid-sized accounting firm, is looking for Accountant to join the team in the Montreal area.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/div>\n
Independently perform bookkeeping (mainly investments), adjusting entries and drafting financial statements.<\/div>\n
Complete personal (T1) and certain corporate (T2) income tax returns<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Prepare T4 and T5 slips, GST\/HST and SAD returns<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Under the supervision of a senior accountant, perform compilations and certain sections of engagement reviews<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Understand client needs, specifics and best practices in organizing client files.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Occasionally communicate with government agencies<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
  • 2-3 years experience in general accounting in an accounting firm<\/li>\n
  • English (advanced), French (intermediate)<\/li>\n
  • Experience with compilations and reviews (Must)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Notre client, un cabinet comptable de taille moyenne bien \u00e9tabli, est \u00e0 la recherche de deux Comptable pour joindre son \u00e9quipe dans la r\u00e9gion de Montr\u00e9al (ouverture de postes).<\/div>\n

    <\/p>\n

    Responsabilit\u00e9s :<\/div>\n
      \n
    • \n
      Effectuer de fa\u00e7on autonome la tenue de livres (principalement des placements), les \u00e9critures de r\u00e9gularisation et la pr\u00e9paration des \u00e9tats financiers.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Compl\u00e9ter les d\u00e9clarations de revenus personnelles (T1) et certaines d\u00e9clarations de soci\u00e9t\u00e9s (T2).<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Pr\u00e9parer les feuillets T4 et T5, ainsi que les d\u00e9clarations de TPS\/TVH et de la DAS.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Sous la supervision d\u2019un comptable senior, effectuer des missions de compilation et certaines sections d\u2019examens limit\u00e9s.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Comprendre les besoins et les particularit\u00e9s des clients, et appliquer les bonnes pratiques dans l\u2019organisation des dossiers clients.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Communiquer \u00e0 l\u2019occasion avec les instances gouvernementales.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Dipl\u00f4me coll\u00e9gial en administration (profil comptabilit\u00e9)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

        2 \u00e0 3 ans d\u2019exp\u00e9rience en comptabilit\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9rale en cabinet comptable<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

        Bilingue (fran\u00e7ais et anglais)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
