This role offers opportunities for leadership and project management while ensuring adherence to rigorous industry standards and client expectations.<br \/>Key Responsibilities<br \/>Design & Technical Support (50-75%)<br \/>Develop and review electrical designs, specifications, and calculations.<br \/>Create design drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.<br \/>Conduct equipment compliance testing and oversee factory acceptance tests.<br \/>Prepare reports, test plans, and engineering documentation.<br \/>Project Management (15-25%)<br \/>Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.<br \/>Lead projects to meet quality and timeline goals.<br \/>Manage project billing cycles and reporting.<br \/>Field Support & Administration (10-20%)<br \/>Provide full-cycle engineering assistance during installation, commissioning, and close-out phases.<br \/>Liaise with stakeholders to address project requirements and updates.<br \/>About You<br \/>Strong work ethic, adaptability, and accountability.<br \/>Passion for staying current with electrical safety codes and innovative engineering practices.<br \/>Proven ability to lead and manage projects effectively.<br \/>Qualifications<br \/>Degree: Bachelor\u2019s in Electrical Engineering (required).<br \/>Licensing: P.Eng designation in Ontario (mandatory).<br \/>Experience: 5-10 years in electrical design, preferably in the nuclear industry or with OPG.<br \/>Assets: PMP designation, OPG DE\/DTL qualification, experience with Asset Suite 9.<br \/>Technical Expertise<br \/>Proficiency in medium\/low-voltage power distribution systems, substations, and sustainable energy solutions (e.g., hydroelectric, solar).<br \/>Knowledge of nuclear engineering processes, including ECC and risk-based modification procedures.<br \/>Familiarity with Canadian Electrical Codes, IEEE standards, and OPG governance.<br \/>Why Join Us?<br \/>This role offers a dynamic work environment, hybrid flexibility, and the chance to collaborate with industry leaders on high-impact projects.
