Your tasks as the a Sprayer-woodworking:

• Spraying different variations of paints, some of similar colour (7 different whites, ect)
• Get material for staining/painting ready
• Touching up and sanding wood
• Mix colours , colour match, colour correct as needed
• Spray sealers, primer, stain and top coat
• Glaze, antiquing of wood material
• cleaning area of work, and cleaning spray guns

The required qualifications of the Sprayer-woodworking:

• 3+ years’ experience spraying in wood cabinetry environment using water base products
• Able to read work orders, safety and product information
• Knowledge of various wood species
• Able to use rate, ratios, proportion to mix finishes and calculate how much colour to mix for different batches of stain/color
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
• Attention to detail for this role is essential
• Work independently most of the time
• Basic math skills-working on ratios when mixing paint
• Must be able to working standing for long period of time (max 3.5 hours at a time)
• Must be able to wear PPE while working (mask, hearing protection, safety glasses)
• WHMIS and Safety Awareness
• Must have safety shoes
