Talent Acquisition Specialist:


• Manages a high volume of union and non-union requisitions ranging from administrative roles to senior leadership positions

• Facilitates full-cycle recruitment with hiring managers and fully supports the recruitment process including phone screening of internals, approval of interview questions, participating in panel interviews & scoring, vetting of competition files, and approving hiring recommendations from managers. Typically, 35 new hires per month.

• Provides guidance to hiring managers on interviewing, best hiring practices, and market conditions impacting their search

• Prepares internal and external job postings to attract qualified talent, all onboarding documents including contracts for review and approval


• Degree in Human Resources

• Two (2) years experience providing high volume recruiting services within a corporate Human Resources Department

• Must have experience recruiting in a unionized environment working within the parameters of a collective agreement

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Windows, Word, Excel (V Look Up, Pivot Tables), Outlook, Teams

• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
