Position: SMT Setup Operator – Machine Operator

Location: Mississauga, ON

Shift: Afternoon Shift (Monday to Friday) – 3:30 pm to 12:00 am

Pay Rate: $17

Job Summary:

As an SMT Setup Operator, you will play a crucial role in setting up feeder tables for use in the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) machines. Your expertise will ensure the efficient operation of the production line, contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up feeder tables for SMT machines, ensuring proper placement and alignment.
• Perform Short Strips and Loose Part Verification to validate accuracy.
• Operate equipment including the scale, tape and reel counter, and vacuum sealer machine.
• Handle packaging and labeling in accordance with requirements.
• Manage the movement and creation of bin boxes, conducting cycle counts as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous electronic assembly experience is considered an asset.
• Detail-oriented and quality-conscious approach to work.
• Well-organized and reliable individual capable of adhering to deadlines.

Physical Demands:

• May occasionally require extended periods of standing or walking in a production environment.
• Ability to safely maneuver products up to 25 lbs without causing injury.

Mental Demands:

• Capable of accepting and completing assignments with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
