Job Summary: The Site Clerk with High-Rise Experience will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to our construction site operations. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of high-rise construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Control: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all construction-related documents, including drawings, permits, contracts, and correspondence.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Assist in coordinating activities with subcontractors, including tracking their progress, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and processing subcontractor documentation.
- Materials and Supplies: Monitor the inventory of construction materials and supplies on-site, and communicate with the procurement team for timely restocking.
- Site Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on site activities, progress, and any issues or delays encountered.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that safety protocols and regulations are followed on the construction site and maintain records of safety inspections and incidents.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between the site team, project managers, and the main office. Facilitate effective communication and information flow.
- Visitor Management: Manage and log site visitor access and ensure that all visitors adhere to safety protocols.
- Meeting Support: Assist in organizing and documenting site meetings, including safety meetings, progress meetings, and quality control meetings.
- Filing and Organization: Maintain an organized filing system for all site-related documents and ensure accessibility for the project team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in construction management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Site Clerk in high-rise construction projects.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with construction drawings and blueprints is advantageous.
