You’ll work closely with warehouse, production, machine centers, carriers, and customer service teams—acting as the central point of communication that keeps everything on track.

What You’ll Do
As a Shipping Coordinator, you’ll support the flow of materials and finished goods with accuracy and efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
Shipping & Logistics

Schedule all incoming and outgoing freight according to production timelines and warehouse capacity.

Coordinate truck bookings with approved carriers and ensure smooth dock operations.

Organize shipments between facilities and outbound orders, maximizing trailer usage and consolidating loads when possible.
Documentation

Create accurate shipping documents such as BOLs, packing slips, labels, and ASNs when needed.

Enter shipment details into ERP/WMS systems, including pallet counts, weights, times, and carrier confirmations.

Keep documentation organized and audit-ready.
Inventory & Quality Checks

Confirm product availability, SKUs, quantities, labels, and pallet counts prior to loading.

Assist with cycle counts and monthly inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies.

Conduct quality checks on outbound shipments and notify warehouse or quality teams of any issues.
Receiving Coordination

Manage inbound deliveries to avoid congestion and maintain steady workflow.

Complete receiving paperwork and verify materials against bills of lading, reporting any mismatches.
Communication & Support

Track shipments when necessary and provide timely updates.

Support customer service with dispatch confirmations and tracking details.
Other Duties
-
Follow safety procedures and loading standards.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.

Assist with additional tasks to support operational needs.
What You Bring
-
Minimum 3 years in a Shipping Coordinator or similar role

Experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment

Strong Excel skills

Solid problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude

Excellent communication skills

Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes

Team-oriented, dependable, and detail-focused
Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing/warehouse environment and requires PPE such as safety shoes, hearing protection, and eye protection. You may be exposed to equipment noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
Physical Requirements

Use of warehouse equipment (certifications may be required)

Ability to move on/off equipment and use stairs

Frequent standing, walking, and manual handling

Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs
