Fuze HR is currently hiring for Service Technician for one of our clients in Surrey, BC

The successful candidate will be working directly with customers in a wide variety of industrial and mobile applications. We are looking for a go-getter individual with an enthusiastic mindset and high attention

to detail. The candidate will embrace new challenges, follow through on tasks to completion, and be an active team member working with other departments such as Sales, Production and Operations.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical service support, product advice, pricing, and quotations to customers

• Educate customers based on products and provide recommendations on system modifications

• Build customer trust and develop customer relationships

• Provide outstanding customer service

• Coordinate and visit key customers on a strategic schedule

• Coordinate and perform in-house repairs, providing emergency services and on-site troubleshooting as required

• Diagnose hydraulic and electrical system issues at client Site

• Conduct inspection and preventative maintenance services

• Installations and commissioning services

• Maintain all customer/service records, follow company processes and procedures for all service calls, repairs and warranty requests, including proper documentation within our system

• Comply with all health & safety regulations/policies at Wainbee and customer facilities

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years experience in fluid power and/or industrial automation

• Certified Fluid Power Hydraulic Specialist (CFPHS)

• Background in hydraulics, electronics, mechanics would be a great asset

• Technical training and demonstrated knowledge of industrial products

• Great communication skills & the ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner

• High attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

• Independent thinking and exceptional decision-making skills

• Ability to collect data related to technical issues and present solutions to the team and customer

• Strong and self-motivated team player, customer service oriented, and willing to learn new equipment and processes

• Experience with ERP and CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office software

• Demonstrated knowledge of fluid power and electrical drawings

• Must be able to carry, lift, push and pull at least 50lbs on a regular basis

• This position can be physically demanding, so the individual must be in good condition to bend, crawl or walk on uneven surfaces, and work in odd positions for extended periods of time
