Our client is a prominent global leader in the design and production of safety, productivity, and environmental control products, serving customers in warehousing, manufacturing, retail, and distribution centers. As the largest manufacturer of loading dock and warehouse equipment, our client’s Canadian division handles all loading dock needs comprehensively. Job Title: Service Coordinator for Dock Products
Job Summary: As a Bilingual Service Coordinator, you will have a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of our service and maintenance activities. Your primary responsibility will involve coordinating service requests, scheduling service technicians, and assisting customers in addressing their dock equipment requirements. You will collaborate closely with both the sales and service teams to maintain customer satisfaction and uphold our reputation for outstanding service.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding service and maintenance.
- Promptly respond to customer service requests through phone, email, or other communication channels.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns, answering queries, and offering solutions.
Scheduling and Coordination:
- Schedule service technicians to fulfill customer requests for maintenance, repairs, and installations.
- Plan and coordinate service visits to optimize technician productivity and minimize customer downtime.
- Maintain comprehensive records of service appointments, technician availability, and service history.
- Collaborate with the sales team to coordinate service activities related to new installations and customer upgrades.
- Keep customers informed about service schedules, technician arrival times, and any changes or delays in service appointments.
- Ensure clear and effective communication between the service team and customers throughout the service process.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work orders, service reports, and customer feedback.
- Generate and provide service reports to customers and management as required.
- Analyze service data to identify opportunities for process improvement and customer satisfaction enhancement.
- Monitor service quality to ensure that all work aligns with company standards and meets customer expectations.
- Address any service-related issues promptly and collaborate with technicians to resolve problems.
- Identify opportunities for ongoing training and development of service technicians.
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree in a related field is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a customer service or service coordination role, preferably in dock equipment or industrial equipment maintenance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Proficiency in office software and scheduling tools.
- Ability to excel under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of dock products or construction and equipment is a plus.
- A dedication to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
