The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of remote monitoring reports to proactively identify and address capacity and performance issues within the system. Proficient in monitoring and managing systems, including up/down device monitoring, asset management for monitored devices, and related tasks.
• Collaborate seamlessly with project teams and Citrix users, serving as a valuable resource for second and third-level support across various IT domains, including Technical Support and Development teams.
• Deliver comprehensive technical expertise encompassing assessment, design, implementation of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), seamless migration, upgrades, and the creation of meticulous technical documentation.
• Manage the provisioning of Citrix-published applications, adeptly handle group policies, oversee user access and profile management, and ensure optimal management of Virtual Delivery Agents (VDAs).
• Organize and conduct cross-training sessions for different teams, fostering a cohesive understanding of access processes and their practical application, promoting a streamlined support environment.
• Actively participate in security initiatives, taking a hands-on role in identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities, thereby contributing to the overall robustness of the system.
• Lead the upgrading process for Citrix and its associated components, overseeing the seamless patching of Citrix servers and Virtual Delivery Agents (VDAs), ensuring the platform’s stability and up-to-date performance.

The required qualifications for the Senior Systems Engineer are:

• 6+ years’ experience in a senior technical role.
• Proficient in supporting Citrix Virtual Apps, NetScaler, Active Directory, and related ecosystems, ensuring secure user access to applications, servers, and desktops.
• 3+ years of experience with VMWare.
• 3+ years of experience with Windows Servers 2016-2022.
• 3+ years of experience provisioning and supporting Citrix services.
• Solid expertise in Windows Server technologies, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, etc.
• Strong command of Infrastructure components such as Hyperconverged and Virtualization Technologies (e.g., Dell VXRAIL, VMWare ESXi). Includes skills in Redundancy Factor settings, Cluster technology, Host and Storage management, Virtual Machine settings, policies and management, capacity management, and virtual networks.
• Expert knowledge of VDI infrastructure technologies, particularly Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop.
• Proven experience in upgrading and patching all Citrix technologies.
• Proficiency in using PowerShell and Power CLI for task automation.
