What our client offers:

• 22.50/hr

• Day shift – Monday to Friday

Your tasks as the Quality Technician:

• Walk the production floor to ensure all lines are following food safety procedures

• Work along side the operations team to ensure all teams are working above code

• Take samples of finished products and send to outside lab to ensure they are meeting quality standards

• Creating and running reports for operations director and other senior level managers

• Other projects as assigned

The required qualifications of the Quality Technician:

• Food safety experience is a must

• Previous meat or seafood manufacturing experience is preferred

• Must be able to walk and work on the production floor (80% of the time)

• Exceptional communication skills (written and spoken)

• Strong analytical skills

• MS Office

• HACCP Certificate and or SQF Certificate is an asset
