PRODUCTION ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY – MULTIPLE ROLES IN MISSISSAUGA AND MARKHAM

Fuze HR is currently seeking candidates for multiple Production Associate positions in Electronic Assembly for one of our clients in Mississauga and Markham. We have various shifts available to accommodate different schedules.

Job Posting: Production Associates – Electronic Assembly

Location: Mississauga and Markham, Ontario

Shift Options:

Mississauga:

1. Day Shift – Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
2. Modified Day – Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM
3. Afternoon – Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM
4. Weekend – Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM (Shift Premium of 11.11%)

Markham:

1. Day Shift – Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
2. Modified Day – Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
3. Afternoon – Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
4. Modified Afternoon – Monday to Thursday, 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM
5. Weekend – Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Shift Premium in Addition to Regular Hourly Rates:

• Weekend: 11.11%
• Afternoon: Additional $0.50 per hour

Weekly Pay Ranges:

Gross pay ranges from $640 to $800 per week

Production Associates: Multiple Positions

Preferred Experience for All Roles:

• Electronics Manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand assembly documentation
• Strong understanding and application of workmanship standards
• Detail-oriented, quality-conscious, well-organized, analytical, and reliable
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Role #1: Material Handlers

• Responsible for kitting, material handling, and inventory adjustments for electronic manufacturing parts and materials.
• Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies.
• Communicate inventory issues and adjustments.
• Perform inventory adjustments.
• Package and label parts.
• Use inventory storage systems.
• Receive and issue parts.
• Complete actions related to Engineering Change Orders and Project Closing Procedures.

Role #2: Manual Assemblers

• Responsible for through-hole and mechanical assembly of printed circuit boards and assemblies.
• Set up and use parts prepping machines.
• Perform PCB masking and depanelization.
• Conduct mechanical assembly using basic hand tools.
• Perform push-button testing.

Role #3: Mechanical Assemblers

• Similar responsibilities as Manual Assemblers.
• Experience working on SMT/TH or Mix Tech assemblies per IPC A-610 standard is essential.

Role #4: Inspector/QC Associates

• Inspect electronic assemblies with through-hole and surface mount components.
• Operate the X-Ray Machine.
• Knowledge of IPC A-610 – Acceptability of Electronic Assembly is essential.

Role #5: Hand Soldering Associates

• Responsible for soldering and rework of Through-hole and larger SMT components.
• Perform various soldering tasks.
• Rework and repair using Hot Air Reflow and other de-soldering tools.

Role #6: Test Technicians

• Perform functional testing of printed circuit board assemblies.
• Set up test fixtures for product testing.
• Use test measuring equipment.
• Basic inspection skills with reference to IPC standards.

Role #7: Machine Operator- Potting

• Operate the Potting Machine.
• Maintain the equipment.
• Troubleshoot the Potting machine.

Role #8: SMT Operators

• Responsible for SMT Machine Operation.
• Hand placement of SMT components.
• Set up and operate the SMT Reflow Oven.

Role #9: SMT Set-up

• Responsible for setting up feeder tables for SMT machines.
• Perform various tasks related to inventory and equipment operation.
