Production Associate – Hamilton, ON – $16/hour

We are currently seeking motivated Production Associate to join our client based out of Hamilton, ON. This exciting opportunity would suit anyone who enjoys working with their hands or if you are looking to learn new skills.

• Day Schedule offered: 7am – 15h30 (Mon-Fri)
• Salary: $16.00
• Parking spaces

Responsibilities: Warehouse Associates

• Packaging of cooked food products
• Handling cooked meat products
• Ambient temperature of 5-10 degrees, lifting items weighing up to 15-20 lbs.
• Clean work areas
• Other duties as required as additional duties will be given once more experienced.

Qualifications:

• Ability to handle repetative workload
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
• Previous food industry experience is considered an asset but not essential
• Overhead crane and counterbalance forklift experience are also key assets
• Ability to lift up to 15-20 lbs
• Ability to work well in teams
• Ability to thrive in a temperature controlled environment
• Ability to communicate in English and follow direction
• Safety Boots required.
• Required to wear Hair net and protective coat
