The Company:

Client is a tier 1 automotive manufacturing organization, located in Woodstock, Ontario. We are proud to supply quality products to our customers – Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada and General Motors. We are excited to announce that we recently received the GM Supplier of the year award, for the fourth time!

We are currently looking for a new Licensed Millwright to join an exciting career in the automotive industry, working Monday-Friday rotating days, afternoon, and midnights shifts,

What you’ll be working on:

  • Maintenance of site equipment in a safe manner
  • Troubleshooting to resolve issues in a diverse, fast-paced environment
  • Preventative and predictive maintenance inspections and electrical and/or mechanical repairs for all equipment within area of responsibility
  • Assist with emergency breakdowns
  • Participating in identification of root cause and prevention of future downtime events
  • Interacting with team members and other departments across the site to reduce downtime, safety, and quality risks
  • Effectively communicating during shift crossovers, work order feedback, production meetings, and activity coordination between other shift members

Who we are looking for:

  • Must currently possess a valid Millwright certification/ticket in the province of Ontario
  • Positive attitude
  • Highly motivated
  • Willingness to learn
  • Drive for improvement
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use machine shop equipment and weld
  • Able to display a sense of urgency
  • Ability to work all three shifts (Shift premium of $0.75 per hour on afternoons and $1.00 per hour on midnights)
