Your tasks as the Mechanical Designer

• Mechanical design engineers/designers perform a wide range of duties to design equipment from concept to detailed drawings and ensure cost-effective quality.
• Create, maintain and enforce, design standards including all disciplines of engineering, including mechanical, electrical, etc.
• Engineering documents.
• Other duties assigned

The required qualifications of the Mechanical Designer:

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a mechanical designer.
• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in mechanical engineering a must
• Proficiency in design software – Inventor 3D a must
• AutoCAD design background experience
• Experience in piping design to be a definite advantage
• Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and fabrication process.
• Deep understanding and application of pneumatics, hydraulic, electrical components and systems
• Be able to go in office 5 days a week
• Strong communication skills
