One of our top clients is seeking a professional, responsible, and dedicated Mechanic to join their team in Pickering, Ontario. If you have experience as a Mechanic, have a Clean Driver Abstract, are 310T certified, display initiative and are self motivated, please give us a call today!

What Are The Perks:

• Full Time Hours – 6:00 am – 4:30pm (4 days per week) but hours may change to the regular schedule (7:00am -3:30pm, 5 days per week)
• Salary: $80,912/year ($38.90/hour)

Job Responsibilities

• Repair and service equipment and vehicles within the maintenance fleet
• Provide scheduled preventative maintenance
• Provide required inspections, including completion of detailed paperwork (as required)
• Will be utilized to assist winter maintenance efforts when requested
• Shift work may be required due to winter weather conditions
• Perform miscellaneous yard duties as required
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• General knowledge of the road maintenance equipment/vehicle fleet
• Winter fleet management experience is a plus
• DZ license required (minimum)
• Clean Driver Abstract
• 310T license required
• Ability to assess vehicle fleet requirements
• Provide own tools
• Comfortable with use of Microsoft software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Team player
• Shift work may be required, general schedule flexibility a plus
