Our client in the Automation industry, in Mississauga is looking for a Marketing Specialist. This is a permanent opportunity. This candidate must have strong Social Media skills, be an independent thinker MUST be interested in the Market/industry and Market research. This Marketing Specialist will assist with trade shows and must be a curious individual who loves to uncover information. They will be a strong team player and have a willingness to help others. Our client is looking for someone who is able to develop and market a plan and offers Marketing strategies based on data. This Marketing Specialist will report to the President of the company.

Your tasks as the Marketing Specialist:

·Develop Company brand, plan and implement all marketing activities in accordance with the agreed sales and marketing plan

·Plan, develop and implement strategies and initiatives for the Marketing Department in order to meet the agreed business and marketing objectives within the agreed budgets and timescales

·Responsibility for direct mail, exhibitions, advertising, web promotion, email marketing, press relations, literature, promotional items, plus any other promotional activity required by company

·Creation of necessary marketing material within company’s corporate guidelines (where applicable) but with a heavy requirement of initiative and creativity

·Supplier research, interviewing and selection as well as management

·Budget control and planning

·Analysis of marketing results

·Remain abreast of marketing activities in company worldwide and implement suitable activities on a local/regional basis

·Up-to-date knowledge and experience of relevant design applications

·Knowledge of best practice in print responsibility, online design procedures

·Gather and maintain accurate customer database information


·Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Management

·5+ years of relevant marketing experience

·History achieving results from planning, execution, and coordination of marketing campaigns

·Familiar with media including, but not limited to the www, exhibitions, road shows and trade publications

·Strong written communication skills; able to write and edit promotional materials including press releases, brochures, and sales letters

·Proficiency in applications of MS Office Software, proficiency in Adobe software or other design applications an asset

·Experience with Sales Force Marketing Cloud preferred

·Fully fluent (written & oral) in English. Fluency in French & German an asset
