Role: Manufacturing Scheduler

·Maintain a current database of client requirements/Service Level Agreements

·Collaborate with multiple production supervisors to communicate optimized schedules and update Tactic based on production feedback

·Add and maintain preventative maintenance windows, machine capacity changes, and labour constraints in Tactic

·Continuously track schedule discrepancies or capacity issues on a daily basis and create relevant reporting in Tactic

·Actively participates in daily manufacturing status meetings to provide schedule updates, issues or concerns

·Engage with Sales & Client Services to establish schedules for incoming work (forecasted volumes) and ensure timely communication regarding schedule attainment

·Proactive approach to solving fulfillment challenges (schedule discrepancies, analyzing capacity, load balancing)

·Train back-up Schedulers as requested

·Other duties as required to support the changing business needs

·Comply with Health & Safety policies and procedures and report any Environmental, Health & Safety hazards, incidents and concerns to the immediate supervisor/manager. Management will ensure employees are provided with job-specific Environmental, Health & Safety information and training and also ensure employees follow workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures


·Extensive experience creating detailed schedules and planning modules in a manufacturing environment

·Ability to build and support strong internal relationships with cross functional departments

·Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

·Strong PC skills are required (MS Office, SAP) and a willingness to become an expert with Tactic Scheduling through curiosity & practice

·Exceptional analytical, attention to detail and organizational skills

·Must be able to work as a team player and maintain a positive attitude

·Working knowledge of Tactic or BOWE production tracking system is an asset

·Able to perform in a fast-paced, changing environment
