Maintenance Mechanic

Mixer Operator available shifts:

• Day – 6:45am – 3:00pm
• Afternoon – 2:45pm – 11:00pm
• Night – 10:45pm to 7:00am

Responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance repairs
• Complete equipment modifications for production processes
• Perform preventative maintenance according to plan schedules
• Complete all logging of maintenance activities in Management System
• Manage all reactive and emergency maintenance incidents
• Provide on-floor support for off-shift and weekends as required
• Assist in on-going efforts to improve work order system
• Capture all root cause and countermeasures of equipment breakdowns

Qualifications and Skills:

• Licensed Millwright (eg. 433A), Technician or Diploma related to maintenance/engineering with a focus on electrical, robotic and mechanical specialization
• Ability to complete and generate work orders
• Comfortable reading engineering drawings, technical periodicals and procedures
• Strong MS Excel skills, compiling information to analyze and present
• Work as a team member on small or large technical projects
