IT Project Manager

Accountability

-Plan oversee IT projects to implement new or upgrade existing IT Systems

– Development and continuous improvement of effective, efficient Project Management best practices

-Interdepartmental relationships including collaboration with other entities in the group to ensure seamless integration of new or upgraded IT Systems

-Close collaboration with the nominated members of the contracting authority and all third parties

-Managing the Sub-Contractors, that work with us to develop and integrate the IT Systems, to make sure, that they deliver in Time, Scope and Budget

Responsibility

-Manage development projects to integrate new technologies into existing systems

-Analyze resource utilization and develop strategies to optimize performance

-Establish, measure, and define IT goals and maintain an IT roadmap for the projects according to business goals and the overall IT roadmap

-Monitor and analyze the success of IT initiatives and projects

-Consult, advise and collaborate with senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization and contracting authority to identify business and technology needs, innovations

-Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy

-Draw added value from lean principles, agile methods and modern forms of collaboration (BizDevOps)

Education

-Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

Experience

-3+ years of experience working in IT management or as a IT project manager, ideally in Rail IT Projects

Specialist Knowledge of Project Management, Software Development and IT Architecture

-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization

-Excellent leadership and decision-making skills

-Strong knowledge of project management principles

-Deep understanding of lean principles, agile methods and modern forms of collaboration (BizDevOps)

-High customer benefit orientation

-Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

-Respectful, appreciative interaction

-Experienced in working in intercultural environments and large, complex projects

-Fluency in English.

Certifications or Designations

-Certified Scrum Product Owner

-Prince2 Foundation certification
