Key Responsibilities:
• Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales targets by converting qualified leads to sales by proactively promoting our education courses, services, and special events through outbound calls
• Generate new leads by contacting organizations within a defined territory
• Participate in targeted campaigns/promotions to increase sales
• Prepares weekly call plans for lead generation and outbound telesales that involve mainly “warm” customers. Some cold calling is required
• Negotiates special prices and conditions with customers as per established criteria as needed
• Accurately record sales activities and follow-up actions in our CRM database
• Prepares and maintains account plans demonstrating the ability to understand particulars of accounts, revenue projections, and related key business issues.
• Answers inbound calls promptly and professionally, listens attentively to customers, understands and fulfills their needs in a timely manner
• Takes necessary action to resolve customer service issues in a timely manner and follows up and verifies commitments are met afterward
• Conducts post-training follow-up calls to gather and report on customer feedback; promotes additional products to generate incremental sales
Qualifications:
• Post-secondary education or equivalent education/experience
• 3+ years of prior work experience in B2B telesales/inside sales experience, preferably in a solution sales environment (education/consulting services)
• Perseverance and an ability to overcome objections to achieve sales targets
• Must have well-developed customer skills and be customer service driven
• Excellent communication skills including written and spoken skills
• Accurate data entry skills coupled with previous CRM database experience (knowledge of MS Dynamics an asset)
• Proficient level of knowledge and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
