We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager for our client. The Human Resources Manager will play a crucial role in managing and fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Acquisition:
    • Lead the recruitment process for the resort, including job posting, interviewing, and candidate selection.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and other talent sources.
    • Ensure a seamless onboarding process for new employees.
  2. Employee Relations:
    • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
    • Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and confidential manner.
    • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
  3. Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to support employee growth.
    • Manage performance evaluations and career development plans.
  4. Compensation and Benefits:
    • Administer and manage employee compensation and benefits programs.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and adjust the resort’s offerings accordingly.
    • Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and regulations.
  5. Compliance and Legal Matters:
    • Stay informed about labor laws and regulations
    • Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws.
    • Maintain accurate personnel records and documentation.
  6. Safety and Wellness Programs:
    • Oversee safety and wellness initiatives to ensure the well-being of employees.
    • Develop and implement health and safety policies.
    • Handle worker’s compensation claims and promote wellness activities.
  7. HR Administration:
    • Manage HR staff and departmental budget.
    • Handle payroll and timekeeping processes.
    • Maintain HR data, records, and reporting.
  8. Strategic Planning:
    • Collaborate with leadership to develop HR strategies that align with the resort’s goals and objectives.
    • Provide HR guidance and support in achieving these goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
  • Proven experience in HR management
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR staff.
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
