Our client is seeking a highly motivated and organized Human Resources Generalist to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with departmental managers to identify staffing needs, conduct interviews, and manage the hiring process to attract and onboard top talent.
- Onboarding and Orientation: Develop and execute comprehensive onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
- Employee Engagement: Implement employee recognition programs and support initiatives that enhance job satisfaction and morale.
- HR Program Administration: Oversee various HR programs, including compensation, benefits, leave, talent management, and occupational health and safety.
- Employee Relations: Handle employee inquiries and assist in resolving disputes, referring complex matters to the appropriate channels.
- Compliance: Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations, regularly reviewing and updating HR policies and practices.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on HR trends, best practices, and employment law changes, ensuring our HR strategies remain effective.
- Document Management: Safeguard and manage confidential HR documents, including offer letters and employee files.
- Administrative Support: Ensure completion of new hire paperwork, maintain up-to-date role descriptions, policies, and organizational charts.
- Training & Development: Organize and coordinate training initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Promotion of HR Programs: Actively promote HR programs that contribute to an efficient and harmonious workplace.
- Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies that align with organizational goals.
- Data Analysis: Gather and analyze HR metrics, such as time-to-hire and turnover rates, to inform decision-making.
- Performance Reviews: Coordinate and facilitate employee performance reviews.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate employee records, both electronic and paper.
- Employee Satisfaction: Enhance job satisfaction by promptly addressing issues, introducing new benefits, and organizing team-building activities.
- Ad Hoc Duties: Perform other HR-related tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma specializing in Human Resources.
- Prior experience in Human Resources.
Asset:
- CPHR designation or progress towards obtaining it.
