High Rise Site Supervisor

As a High Rise Site Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the construction of high-rise buildings. You will be responsible for ensuring that the project progresses smoothly, on time, within budget, and meets the required quality and safety standards. Your strong leadership and construction management skills will be instrumental in the successful completion of our high-rise construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management: Manage all aspects of the high-rise construction project, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
2. Site Supervision: Provide on-site leadership and supervision to construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
3. Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on the construction site. Implement and monitor safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
4. Quality Assurance: Ensure that construction work meets or exceeds industry standards and project specifications. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any defects or deviations from the plan.
5. Scheduling: Develop and manage construction schedules to meet project deadlines. Monitor progress, identify delays, and take corrective actions to keep the project on track.
6. Resource Management: Coordinate and manage the allocation of labor, equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency and productivity.
7. Budget Management: Monitor project expenses, control costs, and report budget variances. Work closely with the project manager to ensure financial goals are met.
8. Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with project stakeholders, including project managers, architects, engineers, and clients. Provide regular updates on project status.
9. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve construction issues, conflicts, and challenges that may arise during the construction process.
10. Documentation: Keep accurate records of all construction activities, such as daily reports, progress reports, change orders, and safety records.
11. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities adhere to local building codes, permits, and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a site supervisor in high-rise construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic construction environment.

Additional Information:

• This position may require working on weekends or evenings when necessary to meet project deadlines.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
• Certification in construction management or relevant field is a plus.
