Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team in Greater Vancouver. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to support our mining clients’ financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Prepare year end consolidated financial statements
• Review financial transactions to identify and rectify discrepancies or irregularities.
• Assist in the development of financial reports and statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.
• Prepare not desclosures
• Stay up to date with accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of professional accounting experience, including financial reporting.
• Public practice experience is a strong asset
• CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation is a strong asset.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
