We are currently seeking motivated production associate to join our team for a General Labour Food Production in Stoney Creek Ontario. This exciting opportunity would suit anyone who enjoys working with their hands or if you are looking to learn new skills.

What our client offers

·Days 5am – 1pm

·Salary: $17.00

·Parking spaces

·Lunchroom

·Straight Night shift

·Five day shift pattern Mon-Sun

·Full Orientation

·Lockers (Own Padlock Required)

·4% Vacation Pay

Responsibilities: Warehouse Associates

·Handling Raw meat products

·Moving Skids using pallet truck

·Moving cages of product ready for cooking

·Moving carts full of ingredients around the facility

·Ambient temperature of 5-10 degrees.

·Clean work areas

·Other duties as required as additional duties will be given once more experienced.

·Deboxing Raw and Frozen meat products.

·Handling bloody meat products consistently

·Loading/Unloading Products on to trays

·Unwrapping meat for loading

·Lifting the packages upto 25lbs

·Minimal contact with the meat only when loading into grinder

·Filling containers with beef grinded and non-grinded

·Push containers through production process

·2 weeks training

·Using liquid nitrogen for cooling meat. (Full training provided prior to being able to use)

Qualifications:

• Ability to handle repetative workload
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
• Previous food industry experience is considered an asset but not essential
• Ability to lift up to 20-30 lbs Repetitively
• Ability to work well in teams
• Ability to thrive in a temperature controlled environment
• Ability to communicate in English and follow direction
• Safety Boots required.
• Required to wear Hair net and protective coat (Overalls)
