Counterbalance Forklift Operator (afternoon Shift)

We are looking for responsible and dedicated Counterbalance Forklift operators for one of our clients in Anjou, Quebec. This is a long term, permanent position for the right candidate. If you have some Counterbalance Forklift operator experience, stacking and retrieving supplies and materials are comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs. and working in a manufacturing environment and are looking for a LONG-TERM position, please give us a call today!

What Are The Perks:

• Full Time Hours – Monday to Friday – Night Shift: 3:00pm to 11:30pm
• Salary: $43,680/year – $47,840/year ($20.00/hour – $22/hour + $1.00 Shift prem)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies
• Load trucks and secure product in accordance with customer requirements
• Load and unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device
• Monitor material usage on work floor and supply production lines with raw materials
• Weigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedules
• Keep production lines supplied with raw materials
• Inventory product as needed. And label, sort, wrap and tie product
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Current OSHA forklift driving certification
