As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing new business opportunities in the commercial building maintenance industry around Greater Vancouver. You will be responsible for cultivating relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and proposing tailored solutions that align with the company’s service offerings. Your goal will be to drive revenue growth, expand our client base, and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their unique requirements and expectations.
  2. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business expansion.
  3. Sales Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  4. Lead Generation: Generate leads through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and utilizing digital marketing strategies.
  5. Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals, bids, and contracts to potential clients, showcasing our services and value proposition.
  6. Negotiation: Negotiate terms and contracts with clients, ensuring a win-win outcome for both parties.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and service delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and client satisfaction.
  8. Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team, highlighting key performance metrics and achievements.
  9. Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve our services and offerings.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the commercial building maintenance industry or a related field.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
