Associate IT Project Manager

Our client is currently looking for an Associate IT Project Manager to join the Ottawa team for a 12-month contract! Duration: 12 months + annual contract extensions

The Associate IT Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Lead projects aimed at supporting the IT department and enhancing internal processes
• Lead Agile Scrum Teams’ sprints by managing meetings and keeping track of team progress
• Collaborate with the product management team to evaluate and report on project status
• Monitor the company’s core technology systems and aid in the analysis of reporting tools
• Provide support in implementing and adopting the Agile software development framework throughout the organization
• Create and maintain regular reports on the status of applications
• Contribute to the development and execution of long-term product roadmaps

The required qualifications for the Associate IT Project Manager are:

• 1-2 years’ experience in project management or project coordination experience
• Experience working within an IT environment
• Knowledge Scrum/Agile methodologies
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Familiar with MS Project, Azure DevOps and, or Jira
