Our client, one of Canada’s leading specialist contractors within aerospace and defence is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Mechanics (AME-M) to perform aircraft maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities:

  • Comply with the customer’s audit kit, Transport Canada regulations (CARS), Technical Airworthiness Manual (TAM), Quality Control Procedures (QCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Process Standards (CPS), all maintenance, manufacturing and policy manuals, and the scope of their certification authority when performing repairs, modifications and inspection tasks on aircraft
  • Carry out repairs, modifications and inspection tasks on customer aircraft
  • Complete administrative paperwork, documentation and reports
  • Coach and direct junior technicians to ensure that tasks are performed efficiently and accurately and that the skills needed to progress in the trade are developed
  • Perform other tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of AME experience
  • AME license or an AME certification authority in his or her field
  • Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (approved by TCA or appropriate regulatory body)
  • Full TCA authorization
  • C130 experience is an asset

Schedule: M-F 40 hours/week rotation every 2 weeks : Days (7am – 3pm) & Afternoons (3pm- 11pm)

This is a Unionized environment

The wage range for this role is $75-$90K
