Are you familiar with working in a warehouse environment? We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to cover an immediate opening for a 6 to 8-month contract. Our client is a global manufacturer of fabricated enclosure systems used in a variety of climate & static-free controlled applications. The ideal candidate must have speaking skills, as well as the capability to give clear orders, explain complex information to construction workers and clients, and discuss technical details with other building specialists.   • Daily scheduling of in bound transportation (air, ground)
  • Responsible for overseeing the co-ordination of facility maintenance
  • Execute on staff completion of inventory cycle counts daily
  • Reconcile, troubleshoot stock discrepancies – accounting for variances
  • Ensure warehouse ‘house-keeping’ is maintained to company SOP’s and Health & Safety due diligence is 100%
  • Responsible for training new employees on shipping and receiving related activities and programs
  • Co-ordinate a complex receiving department including traffic from Europe, USA, Air, Customer returns for modifications on 1/2-day turnaround timetables
  • Experience on SAP Warehouse management system or similar large ERP system – MANDATORY
  • Manage and schedule various maintenance service for both capital equipment (material handling equipment) and all facilities maintenance and security
  • Co-Ordinate the transportation claims are reported to carrier and internal accounting departments to validate claims and re-reimbursement
  • Release open orders ready to be shipped on SAP system & prioritize based on transportation schedules
  • Ensure that H & S policies are adhered to and joint health and safety meetings are executed according to safety standards, including PPE, monthly meetings, staff training on use of all tools and equipment
  • Equipment certifications are current for operations of the equipment and Staff have current licensing/training


  • Must have experience as a warehouse supervisor
  • Have highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
  • Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data
  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
