Team Lead – Ticketing Clerk

temporary position, 14$/hour

from Mon Feb 11th to around May 17th 2019

to start Monday Feb 11th

near metro St-Henri

work hours:

– Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am to 4pm

– Thursday from 11:30am to 7:30pm

Our client is a non-profit organization, dedicated to helping less fortunate people rebuild their lives and have access to basic necessities including clothes!

Our client needs someone for a team lead-ticketing position. The main responsibilities are going to be:

1. Ticketing, Pricing, Quality Control of all Clothing Items & Bedding, Merchandizing & Stock Replenishment

2. Overseeing Participants & Volunteers

3. Customer Service

4. Cash Handling, Transactions & Balancing

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma;
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in retail store or a similar work field;
  • Must have extensive experience & knowledge of the clothing industry / fashion;
  • Must be fluent in spoken English & French ;
  • Must be able to work standing up for several hours;
  • Must be a team player and have excellent communication skills;
  • Must be able to show initiative and good judgment;
  • Must be able to demonstrate empathy and patience with individuals who have social & mental health issues;
  • Must be able to multitask and be flexible in a professional setting;
  • Must possess excellent organizational and leadership skills;
  • Must be able to work in a fast pace environment and work with people that have social & mental health issues.
